Women are still at a significant disadvantage in the working world.
Especially in our Covid-era, families are scrambling to compensate for closures of schools, daycares, and places of employment. Working moms lost 2.2 million jobs to the 870,000 lost by working dads. Lost wages due to moms reducing their hours or leaving their jobs equates to roughly $64.5 billion.
As I've been evaluating how to make a contribution to regain the progress we’ve worked so hard for, I'm thrilled to announce today that I launched the Female Founders Breaking Boundaries podcast.
This podcast is for women business owners who are ready to challenge the stale, outdated, inflexible business practices that just don’t work in the real lives of busy moms – scaling businesses, parenting kids, volunteering, caregiving, and leading in their communities.
It’s a show where listeners are challenged to break down the stale and inflexible formulas for business success and approach female entrepreneurship in a new way. I’ll provide the tools, advice, and resources to help you get out of the weeds and find space for your life while running and growing a business.
Our approach is based on ripping out imaginary boundaries created for entrepreneurs and business owners and defining our own success.
We’ll be talking about process, business planning and strategy, people management and mindset.
